IT Consulting
IT consulting that turns technology spend into business results
Most technology mistakes are made before a single line of code is written: the wrong stack, a vendor lock-in nobody noticed, an architecture sized for a million users when you have a hundred — or the reverse. Our IT consulting work exists to catch those decisions early, when changing course is cheap.
We are a team that builds and runs its own products, so our advice comes from shipping, not slide decks. You get a clear, written recommendation you can act on — with us or with any other team.
Problems we solve
Is this you? Signs you need IT consulting
- You are about to hire developers or an agency and are not sure what to build first, or with what.
- Your cloud bill keeps climbing and nobody can explain why.
- An existing product is slow, fragile or hard to change and you need to know whether to refactor or rebuild.
- You are replacing spreadsheets and manual processes and want a realistic digital-transformation plan.
- You need a technical second opinion on a vendor proposal or quote.

FAQ
IT Consulting — frequently asked questions
Do I have to build with GenRise after a consultation?
No. Roadmaps and reviews are written so any competent team can execute them. Many clients do continue with us, but there is no lock-in.
How long does an architecture review take?
For a typical small-to-medium web product, about one to two weeks including a walkthrough call. Larger systems are scoped after a free first call.
Can you review a quote from another agency?
Yes. We will tell you whether the scope, estimate and technology choices are reasonable and what questions to ask before signing.
Do you work with non-technical founders?
Most of our consulting clients are non-technical. We explain trade-offs in plain language and write recommendations you can share with investors or partners.
Can you act as our part-time CTO?
Yes. Fractional CTO support is offered as a monthly block of hours covering technical decisions, code review and vendor management.
