Community track · UI/UX designers
A freelance UI/UX designer community where your designs actually ship
Talented designers often have a portfolio full of concepts that were never built, which makes them easy to overlook.
At GenRise your designs get built. You design for live products alongside developers, see your work in real users' hands and build a portfolio of shipped interfaces instead of mock-ups. When a client project needs your eye, you get the call.

FAQ
UI/UX designers: FAQs
Do I need to code?
No. You'll work next to developers who build your designs. You'll learn how things get built along the way, and that makes your designs stronger.
What tools do you use?
Figma for design and prototyping, with hand-off to developers on the same team.
Can I show shipped work in my portfolio?
Yes. Work on our open products is public and credited. For client work, it depends on what the client allows.
Good at this? Show us. We'll make sure it's seen.
Tell us what you're good at and share a link to your work, or just pick a good first issue and open a pull request. Every one gets reviewed.
